Kendall Grey does it again and it's a cliff hanger. I can't wait for the next instalment. Between Jinx's insecurities and Toombs frustrations it's going to be an incredible climax to their story. Awesome book I highly recommend the read.

After more than a decade of hiding in the city, her nightmare is back. Her past is about to catch up with her and change both their lives forever. This story is lovingly written as you invest in the characters of Perkins and Hollister. You are carried on their journey of discovery and learn to love with them. Not just lust and erotic scenes are abundant but the feeling it gives you to be within their story. I was sent this ARC for review and knowing it was from LB Dunbar actually made me nervous. My husband says never again. Lol like he gets a say. It's a story of Violet Harper and her road back to love. Fate has plans for her. Meet Cameron Stone. A hunk of gentlemanly hockey player. I know contradiction right. But hey it works for me. Violet has issues who doesn't, but we don't all have a Cameron to give us hope and love. Violet and Cameron become your friends and you become invested in their story. We all know someone that has dealt with loss and grief. This story helps heal and understand. In dealing with others you learn to deal yourself. Well worth the read. What can I say about this book except fan-frigging-tastic. It deals with some very now issues. The world needs to read this book. It's beautiful writing by Megan Erickson brings to light the political and personal life of many. If you don't know someone that is gay then crawl out from under the rock you live and seek out a friendship with these people. Most have better fashion sense then straight people anyway so you probably do know some. Male or female gay members of every community deserve the love and respect of all of us. To live without expressing yourself us to only half live. To quote a passage of this book " I am free now except for the cage in your heart" from Justin to Landry. Holy Moly. This book gets you going. And wishful thinking. My husband would never go for it. Imagine a happily married couple goes out for a special night. Mirella and Gabe are the cliche couple. Met in school dated. Fell in love. Married. Had kids. Perfect. It doesn't hurt that Gabe is a hotty and even after two kids, Mirella is still beautiful. Catching the eye of a couple. Weston and Bridget, the most gorgeous couple you can imagine. Weston's GQ perfect and Bridget should be a model. Circumstance, fate or chance, call it what you will but this twosome becomes four. I'm not getting into any details cause I don't want to spoil this awesome book but I will say the end will shock you. A bit slow off the start but left me hot and heavy in the end. Worth the read. What a conclusion to one of the best series I've read. Ever. K. M. Scott gave Nina and Tristan a life full of love lust and happiness. This book is a feel good book. It just makes you wish your life was just like that. Do yourselves a favour and pick it up. You won't be sorry. Heart of Stone Trilogy by K.M. Scott https://itun.es/au/eDJd0.l Truely a beautiful story of Tristan, a controlling billionaire with a past he's not proud of and Nina, a naive twenty something who's looked for love ever after and believes she's not worthy. This trilogy will have you begging for more and K M Scott gives it and more. Beats is an interesting look at alternative lusts and love. I found the erotica detailed without being crude and was definitely turned on in many parts of this book. It is an emotional roller coaster that I did not expect and can highly recommend this book. Could it get any better than this. For the last book in this series so far, it's a thriller. Rock had me going for the very first page. I thought Letty had done one of the worst sins ever. And believe me they deal with a lot of sins in this book. But they also have an understanding with some heartfelt issues of today. Shades has to handle something from the past that looked like it would derail him and Letty forever. You won't be disappointed. This book deals with loneliness, jealousy, lust and love. It also deals with some hard issues in today's society. Well written into the storyline by Kendall Grey. Anyone with an addiction will understand and those who haven't will understand by the end of the book.
You won't regret picking up this book. A great read. I can't go into too much detail without giving away this book. So let's just say it is incredible. The writing is so heart wrenching that I had to put it down and contain myself. You'll understand when you read it. If I wasn't crying I was on the edge of my seat waiting for what would happen next. I even got a laugh or two. Might just be my sense of humour. |
