This is Kate Sedgwick's story. It's thoughtful and loving and sad and scary. It rips at your heart strings but leaves you full. Full of love and promise, of hopes and dreams that can come true if you are supported by someone. Someone like Kate. Like Gus. Like Keller and like the rest of her friends that she meets on her journey of life. Always look on the bright side. Life could be worse.
Incredibly emotional. Thoughts to provoke and well worth the investment in time and tissues. I haven't been able to put this book down and I only wish there was more. More Dimitri, more Veronica and more of their story. More lives to live. Wouldn't it be wonderful if this is how all great loves were meant to be. An everlasting circle of birth love lives and inevitable, death. I pray there is more. Life is sometimes.....
While I enjoyed this story, I found the language difficult at times. Not the profanity but the ethnicity. Lucy is a driven woman and without realising over time she was pushing her husband away. On the other hand, Grant did not have to react the way he did. My emotions were all over the place with this book and I am glad that I spent the time to read it. Can't wait for the next instalment.
